This month, Blue Anchor Hammersmith's wine of the month is pouring straight from Northern Italy. Fantinel, Borgo Tesis Pinto Grigio Friuli is a delicately coppery, bright white wine with a zesty mouthfeel and a good body. This aged wine displays balance, and versatility that feels just right for the shift into Autumn.

Fresh and lively, with gentle ripe apple, peach flavours and notes of pear. It's the kind of wine that shines with lighter dishes, and our team have found it pairs beautifully with our Miso & White Wine Glazed. Tender cod served on a bed of garlic and herb butter glazed potatoes, samphire, creamy white wine & dill sauce, and a drizzle of herb oil. A glass of Fantinel Pinot Grigio alongside this dish creates a pairing that's fresh, layered, and full of flavour.
